Occupational Hygienist

We’re hunting for unicorns. Not actual unicorns (they don’t exist). No, we’re looking for a Occupational Hygienist unicorn to join our growing herd (is that the collective noun for unicorns?), create a bit of magic and generally be a legend. Let us explain.

What will you do as Occupational Hygienist? You name it.

As the site Occupational Hygienist, we are looking for someone who has a senior ownership of health management plans. The role will be on an 8/6 FIFO roster to a Surface Gold Mine near Laverton. Travel is on workdays and site has an airport plus permanent rooms. Start ASAP and working until 31 December 2024. 
 

What do we mean when we say ‘unicorn’?

• current Surface Ventilation Officer/Mine Air Quality Officer and Noise Officer 
• Post graduate quals in Occupational Hygiene.
• at least three years’ site experience in the industry
• excellent written and verbal communication skills and a pragmatic approach to leadership
• working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
• the ability to engage, develop and maintain relationships across all levels of business
• a current Driver’s Licence, Police Clearance
• a burning desire to learn, broaden your horizons and challenge yourself
• ideally, a construction or mining background/experience.
