About the Role
An exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our growing Adult Therapy Team based in one of our hubs. Our hubs are located in Joondalup, Shenton Park, Midland or Fremantle, and supports are provided across home, education, work and community environments. This role is part of a dedicated team that strives to support individuals to achieve their greatest potential through development and implementation of functional goals.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Manage a caseload of individuals 18 years and over
- Clinical assessment and development of individual therapy plans
- Implementation of Functional Capacity Assessments
- Collaboration with specialist team including Occupational therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Social Workers
- Provision of consultation to individuals and families
- Consultation and training with stakeholders including support workers, workplaces and tertiary education facilities
- Engagement in Professional Development in accordance with AHPRA requriements
About You
This is a great opportunity for an individual passionate about working with individuals with Autism. If you are looking for the next step in your career. As the successful applicant you will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience working effectively with adults with a range of disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Sound problem-solving and organisational skills
