In this dynamic role, you'll engage with a diverse adult client base aged 18-65, delivering comprehensive occupational therapy services in the community.
While it's a mobile position, you're grounded and connected through regular office time with your team in Claremont, WA, for collaboration, innovation, and shared meals at local cafes.
The Role:
- Location: Main office in Claremont, WA.
- Caseload: Adults aged 18 and up, covering NDIS and non-NDIS clients.
- Nature: Mobile service with mandatory office attendance on Mondays & Fridays for team engagement and local cafe visits.
- Duties: Home modifications, in-home rehabilitation (cognitive and physical), installation of wheelchair ramps, provision of aids and equipment, and support for clients with various conditions like hip and knee replacements, neck pain, stroke, heart disease, and dementia.
- Travel: Designed to be within a 20-minute radius of the office, included in the 5 billable hours per day, with opportunities for rural travel (accommodation and expenses covered).
- Onboarding: Comprehensive 2-week program.
- Caseload Management: Gradual buildup of caseload, with increased office time in the first year for support.
- Buddy System: An allocated colleague to assist with appointments and caseload management.
- Regular Meetings: Weekly team meetings and supervisor catch-ups to share ideas and address concerns.
- Activities: Engage in social events like bowling, golf, art classes, regular dinners, and Christmas parties.
- Values: Integrity, supportiveness, honesty, and a commitment to valuing each OT’s contribution, fostering an environment where ideas are welcomed from all, regardless of experience.
- Celebrations: Birthdays and team achievements.

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Full AHPRA registration.
- Working With Children Check.
