Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering person-centered care and promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life for our participants.

Daily tasks will include;
- Provide high quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention for clients.
- Develop intervention plans, including short and long term goals, in line with the client’s NDIS goals.
- Good communication, by ensuring integrated service delivery and follow ups, coordinating and communicating as required.
- Incorporate holistic approach to health care according to community and organisation priorities.
- Ensure all information are recorded accurately and in timely manner in the electronic health record system.
- Work closely with support coordinators and referring clinics to track the clients progress.
- Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy
- Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with disabilities
- Completion of the New Worker – NDIS Induction Module
- Current membership with the Psychology Board of Australia (highly recommended)
- Completion of continuing education courses
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with NDIS participants
- Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor participant progress
- Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively
- Experience delivering therapy services to children, young people, and adults
- Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
