About the role
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist medico-legal expert to join our practice. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals with various injuries and impairments, preparing high-quality reports, and providing expert testimony in legal proceedings. You will also liaise with solicitors, insurers, and other stakeholders, and maintain your professional development and knowledge of current best practices.
Permanent part-time and casual positions available across the vibrant Sunshine Coast, bustling Gold Coast and the dynamic city of Brisbane.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in occupational therapy
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- At least 3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical setting
- Experience in medico-legal work or a strong interest in developing your skills in this area
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to travel to various locations for assessments
