We would welcome an early career or experienced Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community. Minimum 3 days per week or full time oportunities.
Reporting to the Team Leaderon a daily basis you will be:
- Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Providing therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
- Providing support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
- Recommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independence
- Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

- Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our intervention
- We use a combination of standardised and non-standardised assessment, curated to the participants needs to guide our clinical reasoning
- Exploring and navigating complex cases, engaging in 1:1 supervision as well as team and national based in-services are just some of the ways you can expect to be supported

You will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
