We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week preferred.
This roving position can be based from any of our hubs and will see you support our home care consumers to improve their independence, social participation and engagement in meaningful occupations. Your well-honed communication, assessment, and problem solving skills are easily demonstrated when you work in an inter-disciplinary team, as well as when making meaningful connections with aged care clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- OT assessment and intervention across our Home Care and CHSP programs;
- Preparatory methods to support daily occupational performance;
- Education and training, including clients, staff and multidisciplinary teams;
- Responding to new referrals and changing needs of clients;
Now... to ensure our consumers can get to work with you, it is essential you hold:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy;
- AHPRA registration;
- Membership with OT Australia or WA Assoc. of Occupational Therapy (or be willing to obtain);
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain) and
- Full working rights in Australia.
While we do encourage Covid vaccination of our employees, this is not a requirement.
