About Bud Therapies
Bud Therapies provides Occupational Therapy services to children 0-18 years old and their family, with a primary focus on early intervention and a relational approach to intervention.
Bud Therapies is a Kent Town based paediatric and family focused Occupational Therapy service who provide nurturing, therapeutic interventions. We value working in an integrated approach with families and other professionals so that children and families can confidently engage and participate in meaningful every day activities.
The Role
Bud Therapies is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic OT to join their growing team. This role includes providing 1:1 and group services in our clinic located in Kent Town and also offsite within education and home settings, as well as an opportunity to provide hydrotherapy. Flexible working hours are offered and the role may include some weekend work. The OT will provide services to a mixed caseload of children and their family and will be developed in accordance with the OT’s clinical experience and interest areas.
Bud Therapies has a strong focus on fostering a supportive environment for all therapists. This includes training, work shadowing, professional development opportunities, support to maintain manageable caseloads with gradual increase and an ongoing high level of supervision to meet the needs of the therapist.
Requirements
All applicants will be required to have current AHPRA membership, DCSI Working With Children Check, mandatory training certificates (including RRHAN-EC), driver's licence and ideally OT Australia membership while working towards being registered as a provider with Medicare.
The successful applicant will be able to fulfil the following:
- Have some experience and a significant interest in working with children who have a range of developmental struggles and their family within different environments
- Have a very high level of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to work within a team environment and be open to learning from the team around them, including OTs and other allied health professionals
- Be highly motivated to seek professional development opportunities
Remuneration package will be matched to Therapist's level of experience.
