You will be nurtured in a 12 month Early Career program, with dedicated 1:1 mentoring, an extensive in house education program run by highly experienced therapists, and personalised support at appointments. At the end of your program, you should expect to feel confident, comfortable, and skilled in Occupational Therapy disability assessment and treatment. With the ability to move between the streams of Mental Health, Paediatrics and Adult OT as your capability develops.
Your case load will consist mostly of NDIS clients, located close to your home.
You are offered the flexibly of working from home or office or a mixture of both.
What you need in order to apply:
- A good attitude to fit within our outstanding culture of positivity, fun and collaboration
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- A driver’s licence and car for client visits
- A desire to work in the disability sector
- A passion for learning and development
You will be a favourable applicant if you:
- Are reliable
- Work well in a team, yet can get the job done when on your own
- Have good organisational skills
- Are a good communicator
- Have experience in or a passion for community therapy
