Occupational Therapy Team Leader - Adults Community Team

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a varied caseload across most funding bodies Our team provides OT supports and services to people of all ages and all abilities. Our OT NDIS services supports adults with complex disabilities, progressive conditions and receives referrals for seating assessments, Assistive Technology prescription and exploring all housing options. You will use your clinical expertise to provide exceptional supports to our clients while leading and mentoring a team of dedicated occupational therapists. As the Occupational Therapy Team Leader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. You will work closely with our Directors to develop and implement strategies that drive growth and improve the quality of care we provide. Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of occupational therapists providing services to adults in the community
- Develop and implement service delivery models that promote best practice in Occupational Therapy
- Monitor performance indicators related to service delivery quality, outcomes, timeliness, and productivity
- Develop staff training programs based on identified needs
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings with other health professionals as required
- Operate as a key member of the leadership team and contribute to service management and development
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Essential Criteria:
- A degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration.
- Demonstrated experience working as an Occupational Therapist with adults with complex needs.
- Demonstrated experience managing or leading a team or other leadership experience.
- Knowledge of contemporary approaches relevant for working with people living with disability or aged care needs.
- Unrestricted Driver's License
Desirable Criteria:
- Proven track record delivering high-quality client-centered care.
- Knowledge about Commonwealth funding programs such as NDIS, Aged care, DVA and more etc.
- Post Graduate studies in leadership, adult based learning principles and/or other leadership education
