About the Role
We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapistto take up a Team Leaderpositionwithin our team.
Your role will include:
- providing regular formal supervision to each clinician within your team, at a level and frequency that meets their needs.
- being available as a point of contact for informal discussions, questions and de-briefing with clinicians
- complete joint assessment/therapy sessions with clinicians, as the need arises.
- reviewing reports and documentation to maintain consistency across the team.
- attending and contributing to planning meetings held by the Leadership Team.
- identifying the need for and developing departmental resources
- Participating in the appraisal process for team members
- Developing and implementing Skill Development Plans for clinicians to enhance their skills and to support them in their individual career progression.
- Positively contributing to the team culture.
- Managing a small clinical caseload.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will be an Occupational Therapist that has:
- AHPRA Registration
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, with minimum 2 year's experience.
- Demonstrated skills in leading and coaching others.
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Current driver's licence
