Qualification: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or studying towards with more than 50% complete
Responsibilities: You will support the Centre Director with the day to running of the center.
This exceptional opportunity empowers you to play a pivotal role in shaping this Centre's culture, programs, and overall success right from the very start. This centre is privately owned and managed, with the approved provider working on site alongside the management team most days of the week. This is a non contact position - you will take a hands on part in leadership and mentoring of the educators and team.
Position overview:
- You will lead the centre's educational program.
- Support of director and a very involved approved provider who works from the centre
- You will mentor other staff in the centre.
- You will help with Off the Floor management tasks such as processing enrollments, processing fees.
- $34-45 per hour depending on experience.
- Excellent resources and facilities.
- You will oversee day-to-day operations in the absence of the centre manager.
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or studying towards with more than 50% complete
- Previous experience of working as an assistant director or Educational Leader is preferred.
- Current first aid certifications and WWCC
- You will feel comfortable mentoring junior staff members.
- You will have a strong passion for early childhood education.
- You will have a friendly and warm personality, and feel comfortable building relationships with new parents and the wider community.
