Free Range Kids Childcare are a small group of privately owned, well-resourced centres in the Lockyer valley. We cater for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. We offer long daycare and outside school hours care in the local community.
At Free Range Kid, we have a child centred curriculum which focuses on children developing and learning through play-based experiences and thoughtful intentional teaching. Wea re currently looking for and experienced Educational leader to join our dedicated team.
The ideal candidate for this position will hold;
- Diploma or Bachelor of early childhood or ACEQCA equivalent
- VIT and/or WWCC
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS)
- Previous experience as an Educational Leader desirable or a minimum 2 years in a leadership role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prior knowledge, experience or training in Nature Play and/or Bush Kindy is desirable but not essential.

- Execute and oversee educational programming tailored to meet the needs of all young learners under our care
- Provide comprehensive support to our educators in implementing these programs, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) while fostering an environment conducive to child-led discovery
- Foster the professional growth of team members, empowering them to actively contribute to children's educational journeys with confidence
- Cultivate strong relationships with families and educators, facilitating open communication and collaboration
- Maintain meticulous adherence to EYLF and National Quality Standard (NQS) requirements, striving for excellence in all aspects of our educational practices
