VACPAC is a small but rapidly growing locally owned business with a huge reach and an appetite for growth. We are located in a convenient location just off the M1 Hwy in Loganholme, QLD.

We are an industry leader in vacuum packaging technology, machinery, service, sales and spare parts. We have a fully operational equipment showroom, office space, large workshop and warehouse along with a team of service technicians. The Position

VACPAC is currently seeking an Office Administration person to join our crew in our office.

This role will be part time with the possibility to increase to full time hours. The span of hours will cover core business hours between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis both in person and via phone or email, regarding the booking of jobs and the ordering of spare parts as well as being involved in a wide range of projects. 

Duties
  • Answer telephone and e-mail enquiries
  • Create customer orders
  • Process, pick, pack and dispatch orders
  • Support the office with ad-hoc tasks
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records
  • Deliver and collect stock as required with work delivery vehicle
  • Planning and coordinating customer deliveries 
  • Site house-keeping, upkeep and maintenance duties as required
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment
Requirements
  • You must be reliable and presentable and exhibit a high level of customer service as well as maintain well documented works.
  • A solid understanding and usability of Microsoft Word and Excel 
  • Current QLD Open C class drivers license
  • Professional qualifications are highly regarded

  • Proficiency in problem solving 
  • You display a high level of customer service
  • Experience in warehouse receipt and dispatch of goods
  • Experience in automated machine picking - KARDEX (highly regarded)
  • Experience in Xero and Unleashed software (highly regarded)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective management of time and resources
  • STRICTLY Non-smoker (due to food safe work environments)
