Job Description:
As a Junior Office Administrator at Furniture One Head Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Order Processing and Customer Service:
- Process customer orders and issue invoices and warehouse dispatch documents.
- Keep order delivery dates up-to-date.
- Handle customer service responsibilities, ensuring excellent communication and satisfaction.
Communication Management:
- Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
- Ensure prompt and professional responses to all inquiries.
Purchase Order Management:
- Input and receipt of container purchase orders.
- Track shipments and transactions.
- Update internal systems with accurate information.
Invoice Proof-Checking:
- Proof-check purchase order invoices, freight forwarder charges, distribution charges, and other related invoices to ensure accuracy.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct stock-takes when required.
Vendor and Service Provider Collaboration:
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Additional Duties: Perform other duties as required by the business.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
