An experienced office all rounder is sought for this 4 month part time temporary role commencing 22nd April. Set days will be Monday to Wednesday 10:00am - 4:00pm, covering the long service leave of the Administrator.
Reporting to the Secretary, Church Council and with one other office support, the role is to maintain the operations of this Church office.
Key duties will include:
- General administration
- Monitoring building maintenance issues as required to arrange appropriate trades
- Petty cash
- Some reception/phone coverage
- Monitoring the main email inbox and action as relevant
- Some event arrangements and set up of such within the facility
- Minute taking (via laptop) to capture action items for monthly Church Council and Property Committee meetings
- Audio typing
The ideal candidate will have solid office administration experience in all round duties, together with a sound typing ability, MS office suite familiarity, experience with minutes. An understanding of "church terminology" would be beneficial (for the audio typing) however this is not essential nor expected to be considered for the role.
You will have a natural ability to welcome visitors and create an inclusive friendly atmosphere.
Essential checks and clearances include: National Police check, Working with Children Check (WWCC) and DHS General Employment Probity Check
