GSJ is a steel fabrication company based in St Marys, we have been operation for 19 years and predominantly work around water infrastructure.
Due to steady growth, we are looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Office Assistant.
The role will have varied responsibilities which include reception duties and assisting the team by helping them with general office duties, including:
- Answering incoming call and enquiries, transfer calls or taking messages;
- Assisting with requesting quotes for materials and equipment.
- Issuing purchase orders.
- Inputting daily time sheet and job information.
- Assisting with Archiving.
- Assisting with organising stationary & files
- As a member of a collaborative team, you will be required to participate in the general day to day operations of the business and office duties.
Skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong work ethic who presents as courteous, professional and approachable;
- Previous Reception/Administrative experience is not required, but is preferable.
- Attention to detail & accuracy;
- Excellent organisational skills;
- Good level written and verbal communication skills;
- Excellent computer/ technology & Internet skills.
- Willingness to work as part of the team;
- Strong skills with applications such as Microsoft Office, and Outlook.
You will also need to have the ability to demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to work both in a team and on your own.
On the job training will be provided to the right candidate. The position is full-time however we are willing to discuss working hours around school drop off and pickup.
