Lead, motivate and supervise a team to achieve OH&S, quality, and productivity plans set for the department.
Develop, maintain and monitor day to day activities of the business.
Maximise the efficiency of the warehouse, whilst ensuring product delivery cycle.
Developing relationships with suppliers and liaising to ensure we have all stock on hand when require.
Manage the inbound/ outbound functions, including pallet reconciliation and liaising with freight/delivery companies.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate problem solving skills in a constantly changing and dynamic workplace.
Have strong leadership skills and compassion as you motivate and guide our drivers who are the backbone of our company.
Manage all ad-hoc jobs required around the warehouse including maintenance of equipment and general cleanliness.
Managing and working with the team to achieve Health and Safety requirements as outlined by our regulators.
Conduct interviews and maintain appropriate staffing levels, backing up/ training drivers when required.
Create weekly driver/packers’ rosters, two weeks in advance at a minimum.
Managing fleet to ensure all vans running efficiently and services attended to.
Creating and promoting happy workplace environment.
Using initiative to introduce new plans for Office Fruit Group.
Skills & Experience
Desired 1 year supervisory experience in Warehouse Team Leading
Experience in Stock Control and Inventory management.
Experience of co-coordinating of logistics operations.
An ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
An understanding of OH&S.
Strong Customer Service focus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and particularly a strong knowledge and ability to work with excel and spreadsheets
Practical experience in fruit industry (advantageous).
Forklift licence and clean driving licence including manual licence
