About the role:
Join CRT as an Office Manager/Accounts Manager at our Rowville, Melbourne site where you'll handle Xero bookkeeping, manage purchase orders, reconcile bank transactions, and assist in financial reporting while supporting daily office operations. This role offers a flexible environment contributing to the production of green hydrogen technology.
As an integral part of the team, you'll utilise your expertise in bookkeeping, office administration, and communication, working closely with our small yet impactful team to manage finances and streamline office operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Xero book-keeping.
- Purchase order preparation and PO to AP reconciliation.
- Bank/ Credit Card Reconciliations.
- Process daily bank payments and Staff Expenditure reimbursement.
- General Ledger Accounts.
- Liaise with Accountants for EOY financial reporting/assisting & documentation preparation.
- Logistics and customs clearance (occasional).
- Procurement of raw materials equipment and components.
- Vendor Liaising: Follow up on outstanding orders and supplier and service providers.
- Contract administration: weekly expenses classification and monthly billing and monitoring expenditures within budget.
- Assist the CEO with general office admin matters.
Selection Criteria:
As an integral member of the team, we would expect you to have a strong work ethic and full experience along with:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and office administration, preferably within a small company environment.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software to handle financial tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously, demonstrating problem-solving skills and initiative.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Accounting or Cert IV Bookkeeping.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt and learn new systems quickly.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
