Job description

We are an established professional practice based in West End looking for an experienced finance and administration manager to join our team. This person should be enthusiastic and proactive, with a positive attitude and the ability to multi-task.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management of financial processes of the business including payroll, invoicing, creditors, debt collecting and financial reporting
  • Coordinating with external accountant and bookkeeper
  • Statutory reporting 
  • Maintaining Insurances, Policies, and Procedures
  • Assisting in Staff Induction and On-boarding 
  • Event organisation for seminars and office events
  • General data entry, record keeping and asset management 
  • Maintaining filing and archiving systems
  • Stationery and stock control

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar office management role
  • Proficiency in MYOB and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • A high attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks with conflicting deadlines 
  • Experience/knowledge at entering information into databases with a high level of accuracy and detail 
  • A willingness to increase skill base as required
  • A friendly and positive attitude
