Shane Delia is looking for a Personal Assistant and Office Manager to join his. team at Delia Group Head office. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition to traditional administrative duties, this role will involve personal tasks as well as event support.
Your role includes, however is not limited to the below key duties;
- Maintain and update accurate records using the electronic diary, email and computer databases.
- Organise appointments, meetings and events which may include collating meeting papers, coordinating venues and arranging travel itineraries.
- Ensure requests for advice or correspondence are provided in a professional and timely manner.
- Secretariat function for Delia Group management teams, including compiling agendas and minute taking.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for the Director and relevant staff.
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure efficiency and productivity
- Support special projects and initiatives under the guidance of management.
- Assist with administration back up for the front of house team including phone and email support.
About you;
- Proven experience as an Personal Assistant, Office Manager or similar administrative role
- Initiative, discretion and logical judgement with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Pleasant, tactful and approachable personality.
- Self-motivated, reliable and willing to work flexible hours.
- Strong time management and effective organisational skills, with the ability to think laterally, work under pressure and achieve work deadlines in an environment of competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to interact effectively with people across a broad range of differing cultures, gender & education backgrounds.
- Knowledge and broad understanding of office protocols in a corporate business work environment as well as a sound understanding of the hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy skills, word processing packages and various computer applications.
