Over the next few months, Iglu will be moving into brand new offices and with this we are seeking an experienced Office Manager to assist with the move but also take ownership of the establishment of the new office. You will be the first person people meet when they arrive at Iglu’s office and will be charged with exemplifying Iglu’s warm hospitality. You will be extremely organised, proactive, confident and motivated individual. Beyond the day to day management of the office you will also be managing all the various events that are run throughout the year.
The business itself is in a substantial growth phase, with a number of development projects in the pipeline. The Office Manager will work to ensure that the office teams are supported to meet these deliverables.
Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management of office operations to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Coordinate logistics such as catering and audiovisual equipment for Home Office events such as Board meetings, GMs meetings, orientation days and external client/guest meetings.
- Coordinate social and corporate events, including meetings, conferences, team-building activities, property openings and celebrations.
- Collaborate with various teams (i.e. Brand, Operations, People) to determine event objectives, themes, and requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for building management and external service providers, coordinating repairs, maintenance, and other facility-related activities.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents as required.
- Provide administrative support to various teams as needed, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to assist with diverse tasks.
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful you will have the following skills and attributes:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in office management or in an office support role.
- Genuine interest in event management and creating new social engagements for the team.
- Confident, strong and engaging when liaising with colleagues and external parties.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised and able manage competing priorities.
- Excellent administrative skills including first class attention to detail.
- Due to the nature of the role, be available to work full time from the office.
