Looking for a busy, varied and key role within a growing, national company? Our client is an established business in the building & construction industry that provides refurbishment and maintenance services to existing properties in the government, aged care, health and education sectors. Located in Brooklyn Park, the SA office is made up of a small but growing team and you'll love being the central point of contact and back-bone for this friendly, down to earth team offering career scope, autonomy and variety. 

The Role

 
As the Office Manager, you'll be to 'go-to' person who ensures the smooth running of the day to day office, providing support to the Regional Manager and working collaboratively with project managers, coordinators and estimators etc. Some experience in contracts management will be highly desirable but training will be provided to someone with well rounded administration experience, who's interested in developing their skills within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Produce purchase orders
  • Process client invoices
  • Develop and maintain Work in Progress (WIP) reports
  • Take dictation and minutes of meetings
  • Manage quote requests
  • Support the Quote submissions process
  • Data entry 
  • Office supply procurement
  • Maintenance of site folders
  • Monitor and order uniform stock
  • Coordinate fleet vehicle maintenance (including eTags, infringement notices, insurance claim forms)
  • General facilities management 
  • Attend to email enquiries
  • Act as First Aid/Fire Warden for the office
  • Provide general support to visitors from interstate offices 
  • Assist in the planning of company/team events
  • Provide ad-hoc support to the Regional Manager and Project Managers as required
Skills and ExperienceWe're looking for a mature, seasoned Administrator, ideally with  building/construction industry experience. Of most importance however, will be your ability to work autonomously, juggle priorities and keep on top of a variety of tasks. You'll need strong MS Office skills and a helpful, approachable and ever-reliable nature.
