Office Manager/Bookkeeper
Dazzling Marine is a well established marine maintenance company based in O’Connor, we are seeking a full-time office manager / bookkeeper.
We are looking for a self motivated office manager who thrives in a mostly independent environment. You will be working directly for a passionate sole trader, who operates multiple businesses, making your role quite diverse. They require an individual who can take instruction, and then just get-it-done.
Within one of the businesses there is substantial room for your role to assist in its growth, therefore an energetic and innovative person would suit this job as well.
Responsibilities include:
- Experience with Xero Accounting software
- Experience with Excel Spreadsheets
- Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Responsible for managing a small payroll
- Reconciliations of Bank statements, Balance Sheet and General Ledger
- Month-end Reporting
- Manage the company fleet, registration renewals, fuel and credit cards
- Run weekly and monthly reports for management
- Assist with the creation of warehouse documents – Sales orders, delivery notes, purchase orders
- Administration and finance support as required by the Manager
- Other general administrative ad-hoc tasks as required
Desired Qualities, Skills and Experience
- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience with Xero and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organisational skills with effective time management
- The ability to work autonomously, proactively, and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Resourceful problem-solver
- Energetic, motivated, and proactive with a positive attitude
- Loyal, honest, and reliable
- The right to permanently live & work in Australia
- Manual Drivers Licence
