Valley Ford/Northam Hyundai is seeking an individual with experience within an Accounting role in a Dealership. We offer the opportunity to make the role your own with flexible hours, the option to work remotely - a true hybrid role for the right individual.
In this position you will be responsible for:
- Month end cut off
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations (eg tax schedules)
- Complete weekly payroll
- Finalise debtors and creditors monthly
- Analytical support as required
- Audit & compliance responsibilities (BAS / FBT / Payroll Tax)
- Monthly Ford & Hyundai reporting
- Assist other office staff with their role - including but not limited to - vehicle licensing, processing invoices, bank statement, journal entries into DMS.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- 2-3 years previous experience in an Accounting role preferably in a dealership
- Strong attention to detail
- Advanced computer literacy with strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of personal commitment and energy
- A desire to succeed and be part of a team
The right individual will have time for a handover from the current Office Manager/Accountant to learn the dealership systems.
