Exgroup are a rapidly growing mechanical services business specialising in machining/fabrication, valve engineering and other specialised areas. We are currently seeking two trade qualified machinists to work on a Project for IMMEDIATE START.
On-Site Machinist
About the role:
This is 3 week project for our client based in the South West region of Perth. Site Inductions are scheduled for this MONDAY (29/04), so we will need someone available IMMEDIATELY. After the inductions, work will commence on Monday the 6th of May. Working 8 hours per day from Monday to Saturday.
Pay is $80 per hour.
The Successful Candidate will ideally have:
- Trade qualified Machinist
- Experience doing Flange Facing
- Experience with Drilling
- Experienced On-Site Machinist
- MSIC or Police Clearance required
The position is responsible for:
- Site based work
- Traveling to job site and adhering to all site safety and performance requirements.
- Communicating timely updates to management, co-workers and customers to ensure successful completion of job responsibilities.
- Working closely with co-workers, management and safety coordinator to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
- Complying with Quality System Policies, Procedures and Documentation Requirements.
- Understanding JSA's, Safe Work Procedures and correct use of PPE.
The successful candidate will be required to meet our pre-employment criteria including medical, drug and alcohol screening prior to an offer of employment being made.
