We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as an Online Bookmaker Support. This role will be based at Potts Park and requires the candidate to have access to own transportation as the location may not be easily accessible via public transit.
As an Online Bookmaker Support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our online betting customers. You will be the first point of contact for customers who have inquiries, require assistance with their accounts, or encounter any technical issues while using our platform. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and professional support through our online livechat system and via email.
In addition to providing customer support, you will also be responsible for resulting sporting markets, ensuring that bets are settled accurately and efficiently. This involves verifying the outcomes of sporting events and updating customer accounts accordingly.
Furthermore, you will be required to adhere to strict regulatory guidelines regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CFT). This includes following procedures for customer identification, monitoring transactions for suspicious activity, and reporting any potential risks or breaches to the appropriate authorities/management.
A strong understanding of Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) principles is essential for this role. You will be expected to promote responsible gambling practices, identify and assist customers who may be experiencing gambling-related harm, and provide appropriate support and resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in the online betting/gaming industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have access to transportation (car) and/or be local to the Potts Park area.
- Willingness to obtain a clerk's license from the Greyhound Welfare and Integrity Commission.
