DUTIES / RESPONSIBILTIES
Working under direction, the Online Learning Project Lead reports to the Senior Director Project Manager, Safe at School Taskforce and is responsible for:
- Working collaboratively with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) teams to design, develop and deliver high quality adult Online Learning content/resources that are engaging and interactive.
- Reviewing the Directorate's current Online Learning packages related to safety and wellbeing and working with SMEs to update and enhance the current Online Learning packages related to Occupational Violence and Work, Health and Safety.
- With the support of SME's ensuring alignment of course content with best practice standards, policy and procedures and supporting the utilisation of a range of templates and tools including multimedia resources to enhance the Online Learning experience and resources.
- Working with the People and Performance Branch to upload the course content and guide the development of regular reporting.
- Liaising with staff at all levels, establishing proactive and cooperative relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality Online Learning is achieved within the agreed timeframes.
- Working both as a team member and individually with limited supervision.
- Undertaking other duties appropriate to this level of classification that contribute to the Directorate; and modelling the ACT Public Service values and signature behaviours to create an environment that values and utilises the contribution of others.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and delivering high quality adult Online Learning content/resources that are engaging and interactive.
- Demonstrated experience in the use, interface, and administration of elearning development software such as Articulate.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrated understanding user needs.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate to accomplish set objectives and outcomes.
- Developed project management skills with a proven ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Understanding of and a demonstrated commitment to Work, Health and Safety (WH&S) and displays behaviour consistent with the ACT Public Service Values and Signature Behaviours.
Desirable
- Previous experience in Work Health and Safety.
- Previous experience in working within education and/or ACT Education Directorate.
