Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic 2nd Year Apprentice to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a willingness to learn, and at least one year of experience in mixing dough. Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with Dough Mixing:
- Assist senior bakers with preparing and mixing dough for various breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
- Learn proper mixing techniques, equipment operation, and ingredient measurement under the guidance of experienced bakers.
Production Support:
- Support the production team in various tasks, including shaping, proofing, baking, and finishing baked products.
- Follow established procedures and standards to ensure consistency and quality in all bakery products.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the bakery production area, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Assist with routine cleaning tasks and equipment maintenance to uphold food safety and sanitation standards.
Learning and Development:
- Take initiative to learn and develop baking skills through hands-on training, observation, and feedback from senior bakers.
