Onsite Caretaker

About Us: We are a well-established gated complex located in Southport, overseeing a picturesque complex near the breathtaking Broadwater Parkland. We take pride in providing a secure and well-maintained living environment for our residents.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and responsible Onsite Caretaker (or Couple) to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and security of our property. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of common areas and facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Perform routine cleaning duties in common areas, including but not limited to, stairwells, hallways, and recreational spaces.
• Coordinate and oversee landscaping and gardening services with contractor to maintain the aesthetic appeal of the property.
• Address minor repairs and maintenance tasks promptly or liaise with external contractors when necessary.
• Monitor security systems and address any security concerns promptly.
• Act as a point of contact for residents, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests with excellent communication and people skills.
• Foster a positive community atmosphere by organizing social events or activities for residents.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in property management, caretaking, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to handle minor maintenance tasks and coordinate with external contractors.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• A positive and friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidates will be a couple with a strong relationship and communication skills.
• Must be willing to live on-site in the provided 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom manager's unit.
• Availability for occasional evening or weekend duties as needed.
