Are you passionate about hospitality and have a knack for management? We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual or couple to join our team as an onsite live-in Motel Manager for our charming 23-room motel in Charters Towers.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $60k package including superannuation.
- Onsite Accommodation: Valued at $20k, ensuring a comfortable living experience.
- Performance Bonus: Up to $20k annually based on performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Management: Handle check-ins and check-outs with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Reservation Management: Oversee room bookings and maintain accurate records.
- Customer Relations: Respond promptly to emails, online reviews, and guest inquiries.
- Housekeeping Supervision: Ensure high standards of cleanliness and manage housekeeping staff.
- Property Maintenance: Oversee garden and property upkeep to maintain a welcoming environment.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Handle ordering and inventory of linen, amenities, and cleaning supplies.
- Financial Reporting: Provide monthly reports to the Group Manager.
- Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets and implement cost controls effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with hotel management software.
- Accounting: Experience with accounting, especially exposure to Xero, is an advantage but not essential.
- Certification: Current First Aid certification is required.
