Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar School is a high quality, independent, Anglican, Co-educational P-12 school serving the southern Gold Coast, Tweed Coast and northern New South Wales regions. The Role
The OOSHC Coordinator will be responsible for developing exciting and innovative programs so that children are provided with play and leisure opportunities that are meaningful to them and support their wellbeing, learning and development.
As the nominated supervisor, the Coordinator is responsible for managing all day-to-day aspects of the service’s operations and for providing leadership of the OOSHC team to ensure the provision of high quality education and care of children which complies with the National Laws and Regulations under the National Quality Framework (NQF). Integral to their role, the OOSHC Coordinator is the educational leader responsible for the educational program at OOSHC. They are expected to participate in relevant professional development to ensure mandatory and ethical guidelines are met and up-to-date. The OOSHC Coordinator is required to work in partnership with families and the Principal’s delegate.
OOSHC Opening Hours (NSW local time)
- Before School Care: 7.15am to 8.15am (Kindergarten to Year 4); 7.15am t0 8.30am (Preschool)
- After School Care: 3.00pm to 6.00pm
- Vacation Care: 8.00am to 6.00pm (School Holiday Period)

We deliver varied programs with stimulating and worthwhile activities which develop the children’s independence and provide opportunities to broaden their understanding of the world in which they live.
Responsibilities
The Successful Applicant will have the following attributes:
- Demonstrated passion for and enjoyment in working with children, with proven ability to develop engaging educational and vacation programs that support their wellbeing, learning, and development.
- Experience in managing the day-to-day operations of an educational service with a child-focussed approach, ensuring compliance with national standards and a focus on creating a supportive environment for children.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families, staff, and the community, ensuring a partnership approach to child education and care.
- Experience in building and managing a team in child-focused environments, including fostering a culture of professional development and child wellbeing.
- Competence in handling administrative tasks, including student bookings, staff rosters, and funding processes, with a commitment to operational efficiency and financial accountability.
- Ability to contribute to the continuous improvement of OOSHC services through innovative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Holds a Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent.
- Have an understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School.
