Our client is undergoing a large scale multi-year transformation. As part of their Cloud strategy they require the skills of an experienced Operational Analyst who possess deep expertise in service models, enterprise financial systems, cloud transformations, DevOps, IaaS and FinOps.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to enhance operational readiness
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes, systems, and workflows to identify pain points, bottlenecks, and areas for optimisation.
- Drive the implementation of service models and best practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Lead and support cloud transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless migration and integration of systems into cloud environments.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to streamline FinOps readiness in development and deployment processes.
- Manage and optimise enterprise financial systems, maximising accurate financial reporting by introducing FinOps.
- Contribute to implementing FinOps principles to optimise cloud spending and resource allocation.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in finance and IT operational readiness.
- Strong understanding of service models, enterprise financial systems, cloud technologies, DevOps practices, IaaS, and FinOps principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
