- You will have current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- You have demonstrated recent extensive experience in Aged & Sub-acute Care services.
- You have relevant tertiary qualifications in health management or equivalent work experience, OR a combination of study and extensive work experience in health management with a demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development of self and teams.

- The Operational Nurse Manager reports to the General Manager is responsible for the management and leadership of Nurse Units Manager's (NUM`s) and Clinical Nurse Educator's (CNE) for Aged & Sub-acute Care services at Wyong & Long Jetty and the CNC's with District responsibilities.
- This position is also responsible for the District Diabetes service, the Wyong Ambulatory Care, and the Vascular Access service. This includes leading the provision of safe, quality patient care and related clinical or operational issues that may occur.
- The position reports professionally into the Wyong & Long Jetty Director of Nursing and Midwifery.
- The role is a key leadership position within the hospital and will drive a strong focus on service improvement and positive cultural change across the services it leads. The post holder will possess sound analytical, financial and negotiation skills.
- The role will actively interface with all professional clinical staff groups and lead the implementation of inter- professional ways of working with a focus on patient centred care.
- The role will be accountable for improving patient outcomes, sustainable access and collaborative health pathways which includes networking in partnership with colleagues across the District.
