Operational Services Manager Edinburgh

The Role
Ventia are seeking a dynamic Operational Services Manager to support our Defence Base Services contract at Edinburgh Defence Precinct. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and leading the Operational Services teams, including but not limited to: Domestic Services & Housekeeping, Hospitality and Catering, Commercial Operations, Sport and Recreation and Land Management.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Managing the Operational Services Profit and Loss account for Edinburgh Defence Precinct Business Unit.
• Ensuring Operational Services are delivered on time and in accordance with contracted timeframes and planning schedules.
• Ensure rosters are balanced in order to meet service delivery requirements.
• Ensure that training, licencing and certification requirements are current for all Operational Services staff.
• Ensure teams are managing relevant databases such as safety registers and databases.
• Participate in Business and Customer Service Delivery Meetings.

Key Experience and Skills:

• Qualification in Business, Hospitality Services or Operations Management. (highly regarded)
• Demonstrated experience in Operations Management/Supply Chain Management.
• Demonstrable experience in managing budgets, budget forecasts.
• Experience in leading a diverse team of employees across multi disciplines.

You must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1.
