We have an opportunity with our Defence customer for a Battlefield Telecommunication Network (BTN) Operational Services Specialist with the Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC).

• Assist with the preparation for Change Control Boards (CCB),
• Support the C2 Tactical Extension Product Line lead in the delivery of outcomes as directed,
• Lead the development and execution of the tactical services test serials,
• Lead the development of training materials and technical training for unit soldiers,
• Lead the development in the technical integration of the tactical services, such as BMS-C2 and Mission Partner Environment,
• Assist the level 2/3 technical support for BTN in support of Army deployments,
• Provide maintenance support to BTN hardware and software Configuration Items,
• Review and provide advice on the design and implementation of interfacing systems,
• Transfer knowledge to support personnel.
• Engineer test and pre-development systems to support BTN integration to the Land Combat System

Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you need to fulfil this role:

• broad experience in the current in-service Integrated Battlefield Telecommunication Network and Tactical Communications Network.
• experience in tactical applications
• networking, satellite communications and HACE.
• experience in configuring, deploying and supporting deployable C2 applications,
• experience in developing software for Linux operating systems,
• experience developing and administering Linux based servers, applications and standard operating environment (SOE) images
• experience automating and scripting application installation and customisation,
• hold current Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance or higher
