Operations and Customer Service Representative
An exciting opportunity for an Operations and Customer Service Representative to work on the Central Coast. Red Bus Services, a well-known local company is in need for an organised and driven individual who is interested in helping the company reach its goals while helping its employees reach their potential.
Operations and Customer Service play a major role in ensuring Red Bus Services achieves accreditation as a bus operator with TFNSW and maintains best practice standards. This position offers you the opportunity to demonstrate your capability and work in a dynamic team. To be successful in this role you will be able to multi-task, be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
This role will ensure that Customer Service and operations support to the operations team to meet the standards and requirements of Red Bus and it’s commercial contracts. As the Operations and Customer Service Representative you will be assisting in:-
- Assist the Operations Manager in the preparation of communication and distribution of information to the drivers ;
- Maintaining the register of communication reports and ensuring communication reports are distributed to the Manager and Operations;
- Ensure employee’s details are updated on a quarterly basis;
- Manage the front of house office duties such as incoming calls and visitor sign-in procedures;
- Manage record keeping for lost property and working with the Customer Service team to effectively manage the return of lost property;
- Respond to customer complaints and provide good Customer Service support in ensuring that complaints are dealt with in a timely manner as per TfNSW KPI requirements;
- Administrative support to the Operations Supervisors to meet the day-today operation needs;
- Maintaining drivers’ personal files in an orderly manner. This may include (but not limited to) all documentation relating to performance, training, accidents, Customer Service;
- Manage uniform orders and maintain records in a timely and accurate manner;
- Receiving mail (external and internal) and distributing to the relevant person;
- Work in a safe manner at all times and in accordance with Red Bus Policy and Procedure; and
- Other duties as directed.
The Person
In addition you will require:-
- Good Customer Service focus with an ability to understand and work cooperatively with internal stakeholders to ensure that requirements and expectations are consistently met;
- Developed communication skills, including interpersonal, oral and written skills;
- Ability to analyse data/information and produce value added business solutions;
- Able to work with minimum supervision in a changing and demanding environment;
- Ideally, a knowledge of and experience in the public transport or logistic sectors;
- Ability to establish positive relationships and gain cooperation of staff, internal and external stakeholders;
- Competent administration and computer skills (MS Office, Primeworks, Human Resources Information Systems); and
- Legal right to work in Australia.
