Job Description – Operations and Maintenance Coordinator
Tesla Holdings, a local operator of power stations, is seeking a mature, self-driven individual to coordinate Operations and Maintenance across our four diesel peaking plants in WA. We are currently transitioning from diesel to battery Operations and require a dedicated professional to support this transformation.

Tesla Holdings operates four peaking power plants located within Western Australia. Our innovative transition program is shifting operations from diesel to more sustainable battery-based systems.
The Role
This is a highly autonomous and self-led position, ideal for someone who thrives in managing their work independently. As an Operations and Maintenance Coordinator, you will:
- Conduct routine inspections at remote sites autonomously.
- Plan/develop/implement maintenance activities and coordination with external contractors.
- Identify opportunities for improving safety and operational activities.
- Prepare cost, time and labour estimates.
- Manage logistics including fuel refilling and ensuring ongoing plant upkeep.
- Monitor and operate power stations using remote SCADA and other software-based systems; responsible for ensuring optimal operation, identifying reliability issues, and spotting improvement opportunities.
- Handle typical housekeeping duties at various sites.
- Engage in on-call activities and respond to operational needs as they arise.
- Perform routine maintenance on site assets independently as required.
- This role is home-based, with all necessary equipment and a company car provided for travel to sites.
Salary
Compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $130,000 annually plus bonus, based on experience. We expect annual increases as you skill up on the job!
Key Requirements
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision following and upkeeping OHS and emergency procedures.
- Experience in Operations and Maintenance within power stations or similar industries preferred but not essential.
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to think on your feet using common sense in dynamic situations.
- Written and analytical skills (proficiency in using SCADA and other operational technologies not required – can be learned on the job).
- Ability to travel to remote locations as needed.
