Operations Assistant

Virtue Plus is looking for additional resource at our Kings Meadows location. We are chasing an all-rounder who will engage in all areas of the business; you will need to be adaptable and driven for success.  

This position requires you to work in a workplace that prides itself on meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment. Part of the key to your success is your experience in building relationships with colleagues and customers so the customer has an excellent service experience.

What you’ll be doing

As an Operations Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Warehouse Assistant:

• You will fill in for leave and as required in our Kings Meadows warehouse. 
  • Picking customer orders
  • Receipting incoming stock and storing goods
  • Regional delivery runs (Manual driver's license required)

Administration: 

• The successful applicant will be comfortable and fluent in their telecommunication skills as you will be communicating with both customers and suppliers.
• You will contribute to general office work such as data entry, job management and scheduling. 
• You must have a thorough working knowledge in Microsoft Office - particularly Outlook, Excel and Word.

Sales Assistant: 

• Engage with clients over the phone or in person; the Operations Assistant is not a sales position, however; we require an energetic approach to customer engagement leading prospective buyers to the sales team. 
• Engage with clients on-site, performing routine equipment service reports and basic on-site repairs and maintenance to chemical dispensing and washroom equipment.
