Qualifications & experience
- Experience in Allied Health administration or a similar role would be desirable
- Strong problem solving/ Analytical skills
- Ability to work independently on responsibilities
- Ability to prioritise workload appropriately and follow clinics policies and procedures
- Experience in Microsoft Excel required
- Experience in data entry highly desirable
- Excellent phone manner and email etiquette
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people
Tasks & responsibilities
- The primary purpose of the position is to provide administrative support and enable optimal utilisation of clinical team hours and maximise business profitability. This position requires excellent organisational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Manage the clinicians’ calendars and caseloads and a variety of client needs.
- Liaise with the clinicians and receptionists to schedule new assessments and therapy appointments.
- Assist the Operations Manager or the Senior Management of Hobart Communication Clinic with other administrative tasks upon request.
