Primary Purpose:
Coordinate and Manage the NDT Crews, ensuring adherence to health, safety, environmental and quality standards of the company and its customers. The role involves performing NDT onsite, developing reports and worksheets to NATA standards and creating and fostering positive client relationships in the NDT space while maintaining control over NDT operations to ensure all activities are conducted professional and in compliance with regulations at all times.
Essential:
- Must be based in Gladstone or willing to relocate (at own cost)
- Multiple Current AINDT/BINDT L2 or L3 certifications as below or ISO 9712 equivalent
- X1 Surface Method
- X1 Sub-surface Method
- X1 Advanced Method
- C Class Driver’s License
- Working at Heights
- Enter and Work in Confined Space
- Gas Test Atmosphere
- Construction Card
Desirable:
- Rope Access Certification
- Current EWP High Risk Work License
- Demonstrate First Fire Attack
- Police Clearance
- Provide First Aid and minimum CPR Requirement
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the mining and resourcing industry
- Proven experience and understanding with the interpretation of technical drawings
- Previous extensive experience and knowledge of NDT Systems and Operations
- Previous experience in Leadership Roles or Frontline Management training
