The Sydney Boulevard Hotel located near the Sydney’s CBD. It boasts 275 contemporary guest rooms, 1 food and beverage outlets and 11 function rooms.

We are currently seeking a full time Operations Duty Manager to join our team. This role reports to the Assistant Operations Manager with leading the Front Office team to ensure guest requirements are always met with delivery of exceptional service in key operational areas such as Front desk, Food & Beverage and Housekeeping.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring efficiency is carried out for the smooth running of daily key operational areas in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Dealing with guest related issues and concerns in a professional and diplomatic manner
• Optimise hotel occupancy and average room rate where and when required for the purpose of maximising rooms revenue.
• Coach, mentor and lead by example to develop and improve team performance.
• Support the Assistant Operations Manager in achieving departmental goals and objectives

Key Attributes:

• You will have previous related Front Office and operational experience
• Demonstrated sound experience working various shifts consisting of day, evening and overnight shifts
• Excellent knowledge and skills using the Microsoft Office/Outlook and a solid knowledge of Opera property management system
• You must be meticulously organised and have professional articulate communication and presentation skills, along with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle tight deadlines
• Lead by example; using your initiative and problem-solving techniques
