About The Company
Our client is a privately owned shipping container sales, storage and repair facility operating in Melbourne.
About The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, some of our responsibilities will include:
- Be the first point of contact for shipping line enquiries
- Data entry, keeping accurate and complete container management records
- Provide outstanding customer service, liaising directly with shipping lines to ensure stock requirements are met
- Generate and send reports
- Monitor operations to ensure working flows efficiently
- Perform general office support including answering phones and emails
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role with strong data entry and numerical skills
- Experience in the logistics, shipping or relevant industry (desirable)
- Strong customer service skills, exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- A high level of computer systems literacy with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- A current driver's licence
