The role in a sentence: This role involves establishing and driving business processes to create efficiencies. A big part of the role is to improve and enhance all production processes to ensure the highest standards are being met with the implementation of best practices, values, GMP’s and SOP's
The kind of work you may be doing: This is predominantly a hands-on role, which requires a passion for food and experience in manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for overlooking quality control and innovation across the business including:
- Food Presentation & Label Checks
- Business Improvement Projects
- Production Scheduling Efficiency
- Maintaining High Production Standards
- Team Training and Development
- Recipe Management & Yield Tests
- Environmental Cleanliness & Personal Hygiene
- Procurement & Stock Management
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An exceptional eye for detail and experience in setting up business processes and systems.
- A passion for food, and a love of process and efficiency.
- At least 5-7 years previous experience in an Operations/Production Management role in a fast paced and dynamic FMCG environment or catering company.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
