The Frenchams Group is an Indoor Plant Hire Company servicing thousands of clients throughout Australia. We are seeking an Operations Manager who can help direct and lead our local team in Perth. This role would suit an individual looking to take an active role in their career and offers flexible working conditions.
Ideally you will have experience managing a team, are a team player yourself and understand the importance of excellent customer service.
Indoor Plants/Horticulture experience is preferred but not essential. Prior successful management of a customer base, ability to actively pursue new business, high energy and motivation to succeed in addition to superior organisation, excellent verbal and written communication skills are all requirements of this role.
Reporting directly to the Franchise Owners, you will take an active role in the Leadership and Operations of our Indoor Plantscaping Business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all on site activities, supervise, schedule, and manage day to day tasks to meet all objectives relevant to the scope of work/s.
- Laise with Sales Manager/Clients to preparing Plants/Planters for installation, and be the onsite lead for the installation process
- Liaising with customers in relation to requests, complaints and feedback
- Assist with the development of workflow processes to enhance smooth daily operation of the business.
- Excellent problem solving, people management, communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Strong experience building working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Management and leadership skills with the ability and desire to mentor, coach and engage your team.
About you:
- Horticulture/Indoor Plantscaping Industry knowledge and experience are highly desirable but not necessary.
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with team members at all levels through well-developed communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Resilient nature for fast-paced consulting workplace with variable workflows.
- Competent computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and complete daily duties.
- Ability to work efficiently, both independently and within a team context.
- Ability to learn new skills and to adapt to change.
- Strong willingness to learn.
