Key Accountabilities
- Effectively manage and lead a safe and sustainable operations team across multiple locations
- Effective Leadership and Supervision for all people and contractors under your control and influence
- Ensure the safe, reliable and cost-effective delivery of products and services for our customers
- Deliver continuous improvements across HSE, quality, culture, operations, commercial and customer service
- Effective monitoring and optimising overall performance, risk and opportunities
- Provide technical advice on operations, plant and equipment as required
- Ensure the condition and maintenance of plant, trucks, services and equipment are to a high standard
Selection Criteria
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
- Thorough working knowledge of the concrete industry
- Strong technical knowledge of concrete and associated products
- Strong leadership skills and proven experience in managing multiple teams across multiple locations
- Proven ability to influence a strong and positive health, safety, environment & quality culture
- Current Driver’s License (essential) and the flexibility to travel across the Hunter and Central Coast regions
- Strong background and understanding of the transport and logistics industry (adhering to NHVR laws)
- Be computer literate with strong administration skills
