With their Operations Manager heading on maternity leave, they require a cover for 18 months in their absence, starting ASAP.
To be successful in this role you will display strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a deep understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll. This role includes being adept at managing conflict, effective at scheduling, and thorough in the recruitment process. Apart from having outstanding written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, you are a thinker with fantastic organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Resourcing and support for project architects/team leads
- Forecasting oversight and assistance to project architects/designers for all live projects
- Invoicing support to the team, overall oversight of invoicing targets and subsequent reporting to senior management team
- Ensure the efficient operation of the office through improvement and implementation of best practice methods
- Assisting project architects/team leads with project-related administration and fee setting/maintenance
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Administration (a design/professional services environment preferred)
- Effective HR administration and people management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure and meets deadlines
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
- Fantastic organizational and time management skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
