What you will need to have:

1. Proven experience in management with a Civil construction environment 
2. Extensive experience in estimation
3. Experience with quoting in a trade related business.
4. A background in Civil construction industry 
5. Strong organizational skills and structured approach
6. Proven analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
8. Exceptional practical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
9. A track record of driving process improvements and achieving results.
10. Computer literacy skills 

The key responsibilities for the role include:

1. Lead and provide oversight, coordination, and office support to the Estimating team and Civil construction, define quality and safety.
2. Consult, scope and quote new jobs.
3. Deliver leadership and operational support as an operational peer of the Construction Manager.
4. Ensure that all works are completed within the quality specifications of the job/project, relevant permit/certification requirements and the general JSC  standards.
5. Direct people leadership responsibility for all staff 
6. Optimize and streamline operations to drive efficiency and productivity and profitability.
7. Monitor key performance indicators and make data-driven recommendations and decisions.
8. Oversee resource allocation, and procurement.
9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, safety, and excellence.
