Position OverviewOzone Services Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager, ideally in housekeeping and cleaning industry who will be responsible for managing and leading the housekeeping and cleaning team in Melbourne. You must have leadership experience, excellent customer service skills and a passion for working with people.
The Role- Full time, permanent role
- Must have flexibility to work weekends (40hrs per week/5 days)
- Based in Melbourne
- Minimum 4 -5 years experience as a Housekeeping Manager.
- Valid working rights in Australia.
- Previous 5-star hotel experience required.
Position Purpose
The purpose of this role is to ensure that along with the COO, the business, its activities, technology, personnel and day-to-day efficiency continue to work well with the overall aim of achieving business objectives.
Main Tasks
Core objectives include:
- Coordinate, plan and execute workflow activities.
- Coordinate office personnel work activities in line with strategic business goals.
- Provide thorough and accurate reports on the activities performed within the business.
- Ensure workplace materials and documentation are maintained in line with legal obligations and best practice standards.
- Regularly review and implement changes to various forms of documentation.
- Manage all third-party communication and technology queries and networking.
- Make sure cleaning teams are efficient.
- Maintain strong and professional relationship with clients.
- Manage site budget and meet targets.
- Proactively look at ways to improve cleaning procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience managing housekeeping team.
- Relevant experience in a similar role within in a similar industry considered ideal.
