AddressThe Life Early Learning Centre & School Age Care Operations Manager is responsible for the management of the programs in accordance with all relevant policies and procedures, National Quality Standards, My Time, Our Place, Queensland Kindergarten Learning Framework & Early Years Learning Framework. To oversee the operations of Life Early Learning Centre and Life School Age Care Services. To lead, guide and support a team that provides high-quality care and education to children. Be an active member of the management team. To develop relationships that support families. Contribute to the development, articulation and alignment of the vision, mission and strategic goals of the services; develop, implement and monitor high-quality learning programs in a Christian context in alignment with the Life Church vision statement.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the operation and management of daily activities within the services.
- Effective and efficient financial management of the programs
- Guiding a team of educators, offering leadership and direction within our service.
- Working together with team members to introduce and execute fresh concepts.
- Delivering quality care and education to children.
- Establishing connections with children and families within the centre.
- Engaging in ongoing critical reflection to deepen personal learning and offer guidance to team members.
- Staying up to date with industry developments and legislative changes.
- Assisting educators on the floor to maintain appropriate ratios, steering practices, and providing mentorship.
- Recruitment of new educators and training of their skills.
Who We Are
Life Early Learning Centre & Life School Age Care are ministries of Life Church. Life Early Learning Centre is a 60-place Christian childcare service for families with children aged from 6 weeks to kindergarten. This role also oversees the existing Before, After, and Vacation Care services for school-aged children at Life School Age Care, located at Brisbane Christian College Primary Campus.
As these services are a key ministry of Life Church, the Director is a cultural definer and is seen as a minister of Life Church. The Director will carry the heart of our Church for unity, salvation, and excellence. As a minister, the Director must be willing to be an active member of Life Church.
